How do I remove the Carburetor?

I believe the value is stuck closed and I want to remove the carb to clean it. I removed the four screws at the bottom of the bowl but that is on there pretty good. It looks like I need to remove the choke cable and throttle cable before I can take the carb off. Can someone provide a rough sequence of steps.

I would remove the cables from the handle bars and pull the cables down thru to the bottom of the bike. Remove the screws holding the choke cable to the carb. Pull the choke plunger out and give it a good cleaning. The plunger seems to get stuck if not used often.
