my buddy has a 07 yfz450 and it clicks when we try to start it. it doest even try to turn over. its not the batery cuz we allready tried that. we had ca charger hooked up and everything. it is clicking from the relay when we try to start it. any one ever have this problem?

Check your ground, also try starting it on the selanoid. Tell Paul sr. I said hey!!!

lol yeah next time i see paul i'll say whats up. they actually came to a spot my and my buddies ride at. they brought there trucks there and were havin some fun in the mud. but any way, the ground looks good and i dont know where the solinoid is.

im not sure ive never looked a yamaha but its were the positive battery cable goes to first it should be like a little black box

yea dude this happened to me to and i thought it wasnt the battery but it is hook it up to a real charger and put it on start and it will start or just buy a new battery.

this has happened to my friends yfz a couple of times. i think hes gone thru like 3 batterys now. what is it that accually causes this?

it happened to my new battery in less than a month.. could just be bad batteries or leaving the key on and them draining out alot of possibilities but not to positive wich one.

try cleaning the connectors to the battery with fine gritt sand paper this happend to mine and there happend to be a bit of calcium build up not giving enough power to the starter..happend to me giver a try..
