Im thinking about buying a 2004 raptor from a person i know it got low hours, no problems, white with red frame. he said he would let it go for $2,600 is that a pretty good deal? do the 2004's have any known problems? a few years ago i had a 2001 i sold cause i didnt want to deal with the tranny going.

At least around here (Kansas) if the quad is in good shape that is a smoking deal. The major problem with the 660s were the tranny issues as you stated, but that was only in the '01 models. You should be safe with that bike for that price, provided it is mechanincally good....
