i kno a kid at skool thts gettin and 07 rappy 700 for cheap tht or free because his moms best friends son had it and recently passed away so i think they are giving it to him and he dont no much about quads dbikes etc. but i kno more just not alot about raptor probs. and im thinkin about gettin one for some trail xc stuff and just messin around and i would like to no if theres been any problems so i can help him or make me buy a diff yr rappy

#2: None of the 700r's have had any form of problem. The 660's (early ones..01 and 02 I think) had tranny problems.

Ive seen/heard of a few 700 w/ tranny problems. Ive been beating on mine since day 1 in 06 off the showroom and never had bottom end problems.
My buddy had 2 raptors 06 and 07 his and hers and tranny went in both
3rd gear in the one and one went w/ low hours

wow.. not trying to be funny but i had to read the first post like 6 times to understand what you wrote.
Fuel pump issue in early 06s
some tranny issues i guess.
and lots of ppl that dont want to race them..lol

ya that first post gave me a little headache trying to figure it out.

Some of the '06 models had a bad connection which caused the fan not to turn on and the quad would overheat. I had that problem and it was an easy fix. Some had bad fuel pumps which caused the quad not to start once it got really hot.
