what is the price difference between boring nd getting a kit? what are the goods nd bads of each? write back thx

the rule i go by - if your stock cylinder needs re boring, then re bore it.. dont just do it for power because you will hardly get any.

with big bores come reliability issues.. some say mines fine others have to rebuild mosrt ov the time to keep em good.

also to properly get the power out of a 240 you should have a stroker crank +3 should be good. its purely to bring the numbers back evenly ect..
