I think REPOMAN has the best looking 400 here and after that I would go with 08400ex not because of the quantity or sheer money of parts that have gone into the quad, but because of the original one-off parts and the ingenuity that has gone into that bike and I am sure there will be more to come also, and because he always tries to help everybody out.

I think we are all going to enter our 400EX's and the votes will be split 20 different ways and a Kawasaki or Suzuki will steal it with only a few votes.

oh and I want a tether kill switch aswell. But my quad isnt didily squat compared to hornetgod13 or some of the others. On my mod list you would see a lot of STOCK I looked at hornetgod13's mod list and everything was filled out haha

There are things about each 400EX entered that I like. I wish I could mod my quad with a few that I've seen.
I am serious about all the 400EX's entered. It does worry me. I've entered twice before and they were open months and I wasn't anywhere near the top. In fact, I haven't seen a 400EX win at all. I think this is our month if we vote smartly.

That is one reason why I did'nt enter this time cuz I knew from the begining that this month was gonna be full of 400's, thats why im entering next time the 400 class comes up, I'm sacrificing my enter so its not a more of a distraction to anyone else making a vote for someone that counts. I wanna win QOTM bad too but I think of people lower than me that wanna win it more.

I'd be happy with a handful of votes. I voted for RepoMan in the past. I think we should just let the votes go the way they go. I think it will be a 400EX either way. Heck, we might even pull the top 3.

It's good to see so many people on the site getting in on the contest this month, and even more people talking about the quads, and the people that own them. This is gonna be one of the best QOTM's we have had in a while, I wish more of them were like this one.

Feels like 20 people getting in a 5 passenger row boat. I have a feeling we are going to sink. The one or two Kawasaki's or Suzuki's will be the only one's still afloat after the votings over.

Ha, Ha, the photographers are due to fly in from Milan on Wed when my new aluminum frame and a few other parts arrive. Hopefully my pals from HRC will be here in time to assemble everything for me.

Concerning my posts, I have found there are times when it is best to remove posts (mine or others) that seem to have a negative impact and possibly lead an important thread like this down a negative path. While that doesn't undo the past "damage", it will keep from causing more to future viewers of a thread... and hopefully get the thread back on track.

Obviously my well intended comments and opinions ruffled some feathers and struck some nerves, they was never my intent, hence the removal of my posts.

I come here to this forum for fun, to share and learn, AND as an escape from work related forums. Not to create negativity, just not worth it and takes the fun out of it, at least for me.

Did I take "my ball and go home", NOPE... I just stopped throwing it against other's glass houses :-)

Just one of the many reasons there is a "delete" button in most Forum Post editors. Some call it a "Crap, I changed my mind button", or "wow, that didn't read and come across like I was intending it to button" :-)

In the end these contests are supposed to be fun and after seeing the reactions here from some about this "beauty" contest, I have come to agree with Ruby when he says "who cares guys.. just vote for the quad you like the most, and who ever wins wins... ".

Afterall "beauty" is always in the eye of the beholder and from looking more and more at past QOTM contests the last couple of days, it seems that for the most part the Quad that deserved to win acutually did. For example look at last month, I am not a Suzuki fan at ALL, but I would have voted for that Quad, because it is BADDxxx and deserved it IMHO!!!

In reality after watching and learning more about these QOTM contests the past couple of days if someone posts another Suzuki modded to that level and attention to detail in this months contest, I would probably vote for it... unless I see something better.... preferably with an "H" on it :-)

Of course I will also be on the lookout for some of those late entries, there is no telling what can pop up there
