there you go. after you take those two screws out. you should be able to pull the whole slide out and the needle just sits in there and the clip keeps it from coming out.
then you just replace the stock needle with the dynojet needle. there should be a small washer with the dynojet needle and that goes in first.
also MAKE SURE you get a screw driver that fits the phillips head perfectly. those screw are crappy soft metal and easy to screw up.
hope that helps.

be carefull when you take them little screws out cuz they strip really easy, i took the bolt that holds the arm off and did it like that brought it in the house so i had light.

thank you guys soo much! that helped alot! yea my 250ex was totally different... also how do i get my carb off? like the guy striped the damn screw thing on the clamp that clamps the carb on.. any ideas how to get the clamp off? and should i put a #42 pilot jet in? and thanks again for the pic it helped alot!

yeah those hose clamps are garbage in the first place. are the threads screwed up or the head of the screw? if it's just the head of the screw you can try some needle nosed vice grips.
after i got mine out i had to drill a bigger hole in that nut thing that's welded in the clamp and put a different screw with a nut on the back.
as for your pilot it all depends. i put a #40 in mine and it helped it start a whole lot better. a 42 was too rich for it but it may work fine for you depending on what altitude you're at. just get one of each if you want and try em both and see what works best for ya.

I agree also them clamps are garbage I just put some SS one's on so you can tighten them up with a rachet instead of a screwdriver.
