I am getting new tires for the 420 and was wondering if anyone has 26" tires on them. If so do they rob much power? Thanks

I am running 25" ITP Holeshot ATR's on ITP 12X7" rims. The rims and tires combination makes the quad several inches wider....for a real nice increase in stability....yet it still isn't so wide that it won't fit down a narrow trail.

But...I have picked up a little bump steer and the steering really fights me when in 4wd (fights me like if it had lockers). The Rancher is a sweet little trail quad, and going to big on the tires is likely to compromise the handling. I would keep it conservative!!! If you need a monster mud bogger with huge tires, then it is best to just step up to a larger machine.
