I'm looking at getting a new quad for the dunes. I was thinking of getting the 450 because all my past quads were raptors. I was also checking out the current brand new 07/08 prices and I have gotten several quotes. I was just curious is to how this quad handles compared to other 450s and what is the ideal or killer price for the new 07/08s are. Also, what is the difference between the two years? Thanks for reading and any advice.

If you want to get a new quad wait for the new 09 yfz to come out in spring. Trust me you will be so happy with it. All new motor and frame. TRUST ME WAIT UNTIL SPRING!!!! Dont get over excited.

when in spring will this be coming out usaly they dont come out to summer

If you want a quad for the dunes the YFZ is the way to go.

07/08 models are the same.

My friend is looking at getting a '08 yfz450. Where did you get the info abou the EFI and new frame?

Bill Ballence said it himself and I know for a fact that there is a new frame geometry and efi.

08 has hi and lo speed compression adjustment on the shocks standard... Only the SE had them in 07..

06 SE had low and high speed to.Wounder if there gonna be any wider for 09.I I have aproblem with the frontend coming up when I Drag race even when Iam alway up on the gas tank. Someone said my rear shock could be too stiff.
