I need to convert my 70 shifter with a rekluse auto clutch to a hand clutch, is the cobra clutch the best or should i look at aftermarket? i have heard that a hinson basket off of a kx 65 will work? any info?

A KX65 basket and clutch plates will work on a Cobra 70 shifter. I have had good luck with stock Kawi stuff. Basket,plates and springs. Should be easier to find and cheaper than Cobra stuff. Should work better also.

tom, do i still use the cobra master cylinder and lines and just drop the kaw basket in?

Yes, you will have to use all the cobra hydro clutch stuff. You also may have to use the Cobra throw out bearing. I haven't checked to see if the Kawi will work.
