I think the only thing you can use that is the same is the VDI ECU.

I am not 100% sure on everything else. I would also think the Clutches are the same.

I know the stock ECU's and exhaulsts are diffrent but otherwise the engines are the exact same.

I belive the AC has a diffrent airbox

the AC has 2 airboxes to the kings 1. and the exhuast systems are tottally different.

How much money you have to spend?

Posted by: pattersondp

500 bucks for the first go around

Posted by: firefighterjosh

for $500 I would get a VDI ECU. So far it seems like the biggest band for the buck

do you have any info on it my friend wants more snap out of the 700 ya know what about exhaust and filter first

heres the VDI Link, The VDI will make lots more power then a pipe.

http://www.velocitydevices.com/

If he is still running the Stock filter he needs to get rid of it ASAP. They are junk. Tell him to get A TWIN AIR set-up. It costs about $80 but well worth the money.

Pipes: Yoshi and HMF seem to be the favorite. I had a HMF and it was way too loud. 102DBs! So I am going with a Yoshi now. Its about 98DBs without the quiet core.

But with a pipe you need to run a Fuel controller and thats another $200 at minimum if you find one used. After you buy a pipe and EFI controller your going to have the same cost as a VDi and a VDI will make more power then the pipe and controller. Now if you can get a pipe and VDI then you have something there lol.

Another option is clutch kits. A yellow EPI secondary spring and 20 gram weights should make it have some great low end. But will scarafice some top end

Also check out www.nyrocatv.com for some great info
