250r plastic on a 400ex frame?

has anybody tryed putting 250r plastic on a 400ex frame? i'm thinking you would have to use the R gas tank but that shouldn't be that hard to mount.

i ran 250r plastics on my 400ex/yzf426 hybrid, and i just used the 400ex gas tank. im not sure how difficult it would be to mount a 250r tank. i have seen them on there before though. post pics if you get it done.

I had 250R fenders on my yz426 hybrid, but i couldnt get them to work right with the 250R gas tank...i had to use the stock 400ex tank...heres a pic

just make sure you use the stock 400ex seat with the stock 400ex gas tank and it should fit nicely. I actually have these fenders up forsale.

Would you be interested in selling just the hood? Is it a 400ex or 250R hood. Interested either way.

i don't want to run the r tank i just thought i would have to to fit the r plastic. so the seat will bolt right up?

I dunno....250 shipped? the right side rear fender was trimmed for the yz426 kick start mod.

why not just buy laker custom 400ex plastics, they are very similair and have the lines of 250r plastics

does the seat normally sit that far away from the gas tank. ?? or is the seat just not on all the way?? and how much did you have to do to get the plastics to fit??
