What kinda kill switches is everybody using, and what has been the easiest to install?

I like the Baldwin kill switch set-up. Check out baldwin website. Easy to in stall. Takes out the guess work on what wire to connect into. the cost is a heart breaker.

baldwin one takes 5 mins to put on but it is somewhat pricey

I have the pro armor. I like the ease of use with the t-handle and looks good as well.

not to really highjack this post but what kind of killswitch is on the ktm? as i look at the closest pic i could find at the moment i see the phone cord lookin wire going to a button or knob looking thing sticking out of the side of the plastic, im just thinkin how (depending on color, ease of installation, ect.) that could give a kawi a nice clean "it came stock race ready" look. jmo

I agree. All atv's should come with kill cords. All jet ski's have them. With all the other stupid safety stuff they come up with why wouldn't they put these on stock. As for the clean look, i mounted my Pro armor on the downward part of the bar and ran the wires down through the wire loom with the reverse wires.

hey kfx-r could you post up some pics of yours, and where you mounted it to. by the way where did you order yours from and how much did it cost.

Here ya Go....It doesn't look that good with all the plastics off but this is the only pic i had. The wires are routed down through the wire loom. I also kept the light switch and kill for night riding in the dunes. I think the pro armor is only 20-25 bucks and i got it through Rocky mountain.

Another thing to consider is to get a gibson top clamp or complete steering stem like mine. Their top clamp has a direct bolt on for a pro design kill. Go to kandkatv.com to see up close pictures of their clamps and steering stems. Look under gibson.

Houser steering stem clamps have the same mounting system as gibson too
