Have any of you crossed over the axle bearings (rear) to a Timken or SKF part #? Ours are getting sloppy and need replacement.

ever have any luck finding the bearings? how much are they from xtreme?

I got some from Xtreme. They were around 25 bucks per side the best I can remember. The new ones are about 3 times wider than the stock ones and only use one per side instead of two per side and won't fit in the old style (ours is an 06) carriers without machining. I had a buddy at work machine them out but if you don't have access to a lathe you will need new style carriers from Xtreme.

i talked to chuck at scottersaz.com he has both type of bearings. he seems real knowledgeable about these quads. he has all kinds of aftermarket parts.
