Head Gasket Question!!!

Alright so i go to do head gaskets on my 250x and i dont see a gasket on the head, i do see some old gasket sealer it looks like some one put there, so i ordered a topend gasket kit and i dont seem to have the gasket

Its the gasket that goes on the head like where the cover goes on the cover with the rocker arms on it.

I looked at an OEM microfiche and it doesent look like theres a gasket there is this right im sure someone on here has done head gaskets.

Does anyone jnow maybe this does not have a gasket or what?? its a 91 250x and i need some info ASAP please guys help me out!

There is not gasket in between the top of the head and rocer arm housing, you are are to apply sealant there.
