Can anybody tell me on how many hours I must change my piston? I do offroad racing in South Africa and I have got 57 hours on the clock. My LTR is running perfect with no problems and actually feld at it's best from about 40 hours. I change my engine oil every 8-10 hours(Motus Semi sint) and clean my Pro Design air filter after every ride,so my LTR is properly maintained. Some tell me to change my piston every 50-60 hours and one person told me every 20 hours. I spoke to one of our senior national racers and he did about 400 hours with the same piston. I have no modifications, accept for a CB and a TFI,I even run the standard pipe. Please help.

I would say take it apart and measure it, see if it is within tolerances, then if it is ring it put it back together
