Posted by: Robin Hood

Posted by: Baracudaaa

Do you run leaded fuel?

Posted by: LTR450_#67

Wow....that engine would've lasted longer if you would have maintained it a little.

Posted by: DVXracer

Mannnn, that things been neglected, i race mine and it still looks new!

Posted by: Springbok

Those are the exact words that came out of my mouth while I was looking at those pictures. I haven't seen the insides of too many engines especially busted ones but that one needs to be retired all together.

Posted by: DVXracer

What the f**k did you do to this thing?????

Posted by: jfarrar30

dirty air and ti valves dont mix.

Posted by: CdaleXtreme

Maintenance ... Heard of it?

Posted by: RATPACK Z400

i may be retarded but isnt that the wrong head that you have to replace the old one with?

Posted by: Colby@C&DRacing

I just pulled a bone stock LTR apart that looks exactly the same as this one if I took pic you couldn't tell them apart. This motor had an oil line failure while the customer was riding at high RPM. The exhaust side of the piston broke off allowing the piston to flip up on the intake side and pound into the head .

Posted by: Speed_MDS2

I think I saw pics of this motor in Trinity's ad in the latest dirtwheels.

Posted by: kodymx13

ive seen this before. way to long on a 450r. dropped a valve, locked up. then they pulled it off with a truck........

I was thinking that too, it looks like a RMZ head.

Posted by: Speed_MDS2

I think thats a YFZ head he has in the pic. I doubt he plans on putting that on the ltr. Most likely he has a YFZ in the shop also.

Posted by: xtreme 250x

Well I became another believer that this happens Just pulled my head off to see the the piston fliped in teh cylinder loohks alitttle better no so much damage but my oil line fell off while I was riding never new it till it stopped stupid design why did they put an oil line on the bottom of a motor
