Between an OKO 21mm and the Sunworld 16mm for the 2008 DRX50, which would you rather have and why for MX racing? I have to replace the keihin we have on ours to remain in the limited class is why I am asking.

Did yours come with a sunworld or oko, i would run the sunworld. the ones i have run have been great with jetting being the only thing i have changed.

what jeeting did you decide to go with on your sunworld. As far as what was on mine, I don't know. I bought it with the Keihin already installed. I had it changed at the dealer without checking the rules, won't do that again.

depending on you area you can run anything from a 95 to a 115 main jet and a 38 to 42 pilot try setting the clip on the needle in the middle to start. change to uni filter if you can if not atleast put the filter on the carb.

good luck keep us posted.

This is the jetting for the OKO carb

Sunworld is pretty good out of the box at 105....110 Maybe ok depending upon your area

Move the needle clip to it's richest position

Air screw will be sensitive to your altitude and temp(has a huge impact on the overall performance of the quad)

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help. You guys really didn't say which one you preferred though.

Hey Bulldog, check your PMs, I sent you a question there as well.

Thanks again.

SUNWORLD IS MORE USER FRIENDLY

THE OKO IS GOOD BUT REQUIRES MORE TUNING.

If performance is important AND you have some patience. OKO.
Both carbs will work fine. The Sunworld will probably be a bolt on and go, with some jetting.

Not sure yet but probably going to keep the keihin in case we decide to race the prod class, will definately keep you in mind though. Thanks
