OK guys its a ways away but Im thinking about it alot Silver lake trip 2008 first run . OMR you guys are planning a SLT that weekend also I think thats what I was reading . You guys where alot of help last year Thanks for you time. We have 6 so far for this trip. if your out there let me here from anyone making the trip.

Sandnut, what's up? Hey, this is EaZyE from OMR, you are correct, there are, so far, about 20 from OMR heading up there on the 15th and coming back on the 18th. I think there are a few that we have picked up from PredatorOwners as well. Going to be a good weekend hopefully!

We were actually headed to St Anthony in June but I had to back out since my wife's tuition is having more of an impact than expected. From there it snowballed into the entire trip being cancelled....

Hey, that guy that broke his pelvis last year ended up in the hospital about 4 months later when he didn't make a long double. Bars stabbed him just below the ribs and he ended up with internal bleeding, ruptured spleen, and a drain tube sticking out of his side. Pretty gross stuff. He is going again with us in May though!

im doing good i was there quite a bit last year have a place over there so no certin dates i go all the holidays not sure if ill be there that weekend theres a sod sdrag at pt huron depands if the hill climb is at silver lake that weekend if so i might be going to that everything 2 stroke , as it reads 250rs lt 250 banshees blasters there talking like 30 guys so far

may 11-12 mt baldy hill climb there will be 2 strokes and 400 and 450 classes maybe be fun im tring it out this year also on june 21 theres a race at west michigan sand drag 20.00 for fun and trophys check out this fourm under events

don't want to highjack the thread, but what steps do you need to ride at silver lake? do they test your pipe? what is the closest camp ground to the dunes? me and some friends are thinking of going sometime this summer and need to know a few things before the trip. thanks

random sound checks always check for spark arrestors need 10' flag orv sticker 16.25 state park sticker 6 a day or 24 year out of state is more val du lakes , yogi bear, state park no drinking there though, hide-away, theres a good silver lake forum www.silverlakeforum.com they have some good threads on places to stay eat ect

i have never seen any one get checked for how loud the were ,but you will get checked for a spark arrester. if your in a truck or jeep they will check you for a cooler just to make sure theres no beer .

they hardly tested sound last year but the year before that both my r s were test on a couple differant weekends

Hey all nice to see some more returns on the tread. Yes flags are a must sparkys are a must I went 4 times last year and they never did a sound check, but I hear every now and then they do.I cant wait . I cant wait so bad some of the guys im going with and myself and planning a trip the weekend of april 24 - 27.But if not then maybe we will see ya in May

usually go up opener weekend but im still breaking in my quad im not going to make it there untill mothers day weekend the hill climb weekend and im hopeing the may dates too theres a bunch of 2 stroke guys that will be there from a web site but i do have to be back early sunday morning for the first race at pt huron motorcycle club
