Does anybody know if the lifan 125 head will fit the 125 typhoons? Are the bolt patterns the same or not?
I've got my boys bike torn down,Because he also broke his crank!
I'm installing a new crank and doing away with the centrifical clutch.I'm going to machine the cent. clutch drum off the crank mounted gear and basically weld the gear assembly to the crank.
My boy will have to get used to holding the shift lever down to obtain a neutral position. Some of the Hondas do something similar to get rid of the clutch and weak part of the crank.
Has anybody tried anything similar? By the way ,he has the race cam from xtreme and I ported the head and went from the stock 56 main jet up to a 112. No other engine mods yet! Waiting to see how this crank project turns out.

you might call the guy at www.tboltusa he seems pretty knowledgeable about these type of engines.

I may try that with the stock motor we have. Seems like it should work.
