Elka or Lonestar link?

Hey I was planning on getting the Lonestar LT link for my 450r to use with a Motowoz LT rear shock. but one of my friends has an Elka LT link for sale for about 150$. I was wondering if i should go with the Elka or wait for a Lonestar. Its an 04 450r with an 06 stock swinger. Any Help is apprieciated.

I think both of those (DC-6 and Elka dual) are for LT rear ends (17" shocks). You would be fine if its just the Elka single link.

You would have to call Motowoz.

On the stock 06 swinger I don't think they will work.

I say DC6 because its made for the 06 stock swinger. I run the DC6 and love it. and yes I know the link is mounted wrong in that pic.

The wait time on the DC-6 is REDICULOUS right now. I think ATV Galaxy just got some in stock, but i'm not positive. I ordered mine the week before Thanksgiving, and I just got it today.

I will be goin with the DC-6 Myself with a C and D revalve rear end Colby says it work great with his revalve/rework!

I have the Elka Dual link on my stock 05 swinger, love it.

I asked Jim at Motowoz the same question (LSR or Elka link) when I got my setup.
He said both are great links the only downfall the Elka has compared to the LSR is less ground clearance.
I went with the Elka mainly so I wouldn't have to switch swingers. Also it uses a slightly longer shock.
The LSR is only made for 06+ and the Elka has a versions for 04/05 and 06+.

There is 3 holes on the swinger and in the pic it is mounted in the wrong hole.

blaine with that swingarm you can run the lonestar, gt thunder, or elka links.... you just have to specifically make sure it is for an 06 length stocker though.......

I have the Elka Dual link and love it. I does sit really low, but I ride mostly mx so its not really a big problem. Even on a mx track the very bottom of the link has rubbed on the gound. Along with my elite rear shock its great.

Im running a Gt Thunder MX link and stock arm with a Motowoz rear shock and after getting it revavled with Jim its as good as my buddies overpriced Pep,Walsh,Savior setup!!!!

Have you checked out the new Teixeira Tech rear link? it looks good and someone on here has it but i don't know if he has rode it yet.

Yeah it is very pricey but if it is as good as the Walsh/Savior link it is definately worth it.I wouldnt be the first to break the bank and try it.But once it gets exposed id say if it is designed right it will be the answer to LT on a stock swinger.But the LSR seems to be the most popular running a 17" but the Texeira link will run an 18" shock which is pretty impressive with the leverage ratios it claims.I d love to see what Jim at Motowoz can do with this link

I have ran the elka quite a bit and it does wear. I'm looking at getting the lonestar now.
