you could just get an XC and put on wider a-arms. thats what i'm doing.

The last buzz was sept 08.It may be a lot like the xc with dif a-arms-etc or it could be it's own animal.

It is going to be different. It will have different frame geometry and a different engine. The engine will not be the same as the current 450 xc engine.

If the release date is Sept. I would bet it is going to be different then the XC. Prob. major differences between the XC and MX

If the engine will be different, how about...SX version engine, 4 speed gearbox, SX CDI and SX exhaust. Would this be possible or out of place, logangsxr998?

i have heard from a reputable person that the mx version will be entirely different and be in the 11k price range

11k is going to be very steep for most. I believe if they price it from 9-9.5k they will sell fine. But thats if they come with long travel off the show room floor. If they are just the XC version with wider a-arms and axle then they should be priced right at what the 450XC is now. I guess we will wait to see what happens.

when you think about it even 11k isnt thatr bad if its a FULL blown race bike think about how much it cost for you to build a full long travel race bike? well over 11k plus the time put into it. especially for someone like me thta wors 60 plus hours a week having a fully built bike right form the showroom floor would do it for me. look for a fully buit kawi to be for sale when the ktm450 comes out

direct from KTM, will use the new twin cam dirt bike engines, 450 only at this stage, not sure if a 505 wil be on offer.
