kick starting problem

i got a kick starter on my yfz but sometimes after riding for a bit it gets really hard to kick and wont wanna start up. I got a link here that has a asv cluth and brake combo with the hot start/ compression realese thing. Is there anything else i would need to get in order to install this or is there anything else i can do to help kick start my bike?!
