ive probly gota 125 hours on my ltr on large slams of throttle it will smoke what will cure this disease. ( ring piston gasket???) whatever will cure it how much $$$ am i looking at and how hard would it be to install.

does it do it every single time you give it throttle or just when its cold ? mine will only do it when its cold and sometimes when i keep a straight steady pace then slame the throttle itll make some smoke but its not big deal. but if its doing it all the time then ya could be a gasket or your rings are shot.

if its your rings take care of it asap, you dont want them to come apart in your cylinder. your gonna replace all top end gaskets, and if you want get a high comp piston while its apart. its not a real hard job but one that can go very wrong if you dont know what you are doing
