ok done a search and found where someone said to take the wire off the R and ground it and that will disable the inhibitor. well the quad i have had for a year has never had any wires on the 2 post at all. i decided to trace where they had been relocated to. both wires not just the R wire were grounded. the quad seems to run all right and we have raced it for 8 months. has grounding the other wire caused me to loose some rpm's though.

No rpm loss.
Grounding the N allows you to use a different clutch lever and still be able to start the motor in gear.
