This forum is really great,
2004 250ex
regaped plug from 40 thou to 50 thou
open exhaust
re jet to 115 main
needle in the lowest position 4 ( stock needle)
K/n air filter
22in gators rear tires
so whats the next up grade (not expensive)
I was thinking about a rev box? would it help or maybe a carb off a 200x or 300 recon
These upgrades have all been noticable I just need alittle bit more ***.

I would say get an HMF exhaust.

getting rid of the air box all together would be a good idea. get a hmf or curtis sparks exhaust. that would be a good upgrade

Maybe a 300EX Carb, but 22MM to 32MM is a huge step. So should probably wait on that till after an exhaust is put on.
A CRF150F has a 24 MM carb, 2mm bigger than a stock 250EX. Might be an upgrade worth getting.
I think your next step would be an exhaust system.

deff. an exhaust system but if ur gonna be gettin a bigger carb go with the xr200 carb, bolts right up just needs a longer throttle cable.

hmfengineering.com its $310 for exhaust and its bought at dealers price. if you dont order thing over the internet there should be a phone #. and i would take off the airbox lid (free). running the stock exhaust with no baffle is not going to add speed to most atvs it will make slow in some cases but idk cuz you do have jets but get the hmf. a exhaust is one of the biggest things that can be done to a bike with out carbs and big bores upgrades

if you go to supersportsracing.com they have HMF exhaust for 250ex for $220, that is where I got mine.

but is that the complete or slip on
Posted by: Honda10
they dont make a slip on for the 250ex, they only make a full system. So it is a Full system they have on the site.
Posted by: 250excrf250r
well wasnt sure if they did or not because big gun, yosh, pro circut make both so i was just wondering
Posted by: Honda10
No problem, supersportsracing.com was the best deal I found besides e-bay.
Posted by: 250excrf250r
i was goning to get the hmf but got yosh because i had yosh before and thought they were good quality
Posted by: Honda10
yosh is a great pipe too, that was probably my second choice.
