Need Help With Removing Axle On Yamaha Warrior

Hi,
Does anybody know if the stock Yamaha Warrior axle has a reverse thread. I've been trying to remove it and it's been very difficult. I appreciate the info.

No....
the treads are right hand.
Turn the axle nut counter clockwise.
Have some one apply the rear brake while turning the nut.
Also try some wd-40

I have a 300ex.. but when remove my rear axle nut, or hub nuts, I'll use a zip tie to pull the brake pedal down and hold it in place. When I'm done I jsut snip the zip-tie with a pair of wire cutters.

Makes it a 1-person job.
