Since your fuel airscrew is the easiest thing to get to (provided you have the ziptie) see where it is. Should be 2-3 turns out from closed. I would think she's running alil rich on decel. Also, you may want to go down on your pilot. Do you have any portwork done? I'm only running a 45 pilot and look at the bottom of my motorwork. Hope this helps

i had mine at 48 pilot, fuel screw i think it was 2 turns out, and the stockmain i think it was a 158. when i put my esr pipe on there, i had to go all the way down to the stock 42, fuel screw 1 turn out, needle in the 4th clip and a 172 main, and it is rich still. so gonna drop the needle another clip and try a 170-168 and see how it does. a rule of thumb is if you are more than 3 turns out on the pilot the jet is too small, and if you are no more than 1/2 out it is too big.

I get ALOT of popping too, its mainly becasue my air filter is dirty! when i put a clean k&n in, the popping/backfireing goes away completely.....
