I have a AIRSAL 52mm and 42 stroke kit, need some advice to make it run good. Was told the ports where off and it needs port work in order to run right
I did notice the piston doesn't have the 2 holes like my stock piston had?? any other tricks??
I bought this kit last year and installed it but it ran like crap so i had my stock cyl ported and used it. I would like to figure the airsal kit out and use it for next season.
Thanks for any help

We ran one on our Kasea and it ran good right out of the box.I am sure there is room for improvement though and I belieive I remember Billy Holt saying it was a good cylinder once the ports were "put" where they needed to be.If you could could get in touch with him I am sure he could help you.

Deck it , raise it , open the exhaust up, cut the head. Kind of like a port job.

Well it bolted on properly, has very low port timing, squish angle is incorrect to the piston dome angle. Nice head construction.
