predator rear shock?

been looking for rear shock options and i noticed the polaris predator uses a no link setup like the 300ex. anyone ever try one of these shocks?
not sure of its length but it looks like it would bolt up if it were close. could be a cheaper alternative...

odds are its too long,, and it would be way too stiff and the valving would be way off,,
the best cheap alternative is the 01 raptor rear shock

predator rear shock is 18 1/4" long and the 300ex is 13.38 inches long
