do i have to rejet if i put on a new slip on exhaust? i don't really know much about jets and what not, so some explaining would be good.

i would suggest it...
jets are little brass things that meter how much fuel is delivered into the carb where it is mixed with air.
they are simple to change, but getting the correct one in is the hard part.
go here and read the FAQ on jets and jetting and then the FAq on how to read plugs. that should explain everything...
