Can anyone explain to me the difference between long travel a-arms and regular a-arms?
Can you also explain to me if a-arms are listed as +2 that means tha each side is 2inches longer than stock with would be a total of a four inch gain in width?

long travel is just waht it says, it offers longer wheel travel and the longer shocks offer better adustments.
+2 is just what you said, 2 more inches on either side.

Thank you for explaining.

thats not entirely true, long travel doesnt really mean your gaining travel, it just uses a longer shock , from what ive heard a longer shock body makes valving easier, or something along those lines, you do gain some travel , ball joints heim joints, angles all that stuff may allow your a arms to drop out a lil further, i know the std travel +2 laegers i had on my yfz dropped out about the same distance as my buddies lt a arms

yeah depends on what kind and brand you get, ive seen some LT arms that gain a lot of travel and then others that don't gain anything.

Can you specify which brands and how much difference in travel they gain?
