ok guys I kinda need your help I would like to know if you were me would u get an 04 predator troy lee edition w/yoshimura exhaust, K&N filter dyno jet kit, rev box ,and DG nerf bars

or an 05 kfx400 w/yoshimura full exhaust, full skid plates, non stock tired not sure wat kind, rev box , renthal bar , DG nerf bars

they are both the same price so i need to know wat u guys think

i would say the predator. They are an all around great bike by experience. If it was well maintained I would def say the Predator

go with the kfx, just cause its pullin more power than the pred is right now.

the kfx has more power than the predator?? i would think that the predator would have more b-cuz its simply a 500 but i was thinking the kfx would fly a lil better cuz of less weight

the kfx has more torque not more power. simply changed by front sprocket size. the 500 weighs more yes but not sure if he is building it to race but more for trails. they are both great bikes trail so the choice is really up to you. For a trailrider and such I would prefer the predator over the kfx but if you will be doing racing and mods and stuff the kfx is your choice.

ok thanks I'm thinking I'll mostly ride trails and maybe take it 2 the dunes and i have a friend who races mx and has a track at his house so I'll ride their alot

ARRE YOU CRAZY?! the kfx was rated #1!!! #1!! for any gncc race. #1!!! how is it not good for trails? predator is a good bike. KFX IS BETTER!

The kfx isnt pulling more power? Lets agree, If you was to go to a track what bike would you pick? if you was to Drag the quads which one would win? if you were to Ride the dunes you would want which? What about a Hill? Suspension is by far better than the kfx. ill agree. But any other category? Get the kfx. Merry Christmas mother trucka

The kfx if modded right will fly. I have a new exhaust and people have a hard time keeping up. I also ride with trx 450's polaris are junk.

I would say the KFX400, because its lighter and a little smaller making it a little more manuverable than the polaris. The polaris does have nice supension though. When I had a KFX400 it had roughly the same mods as the one your looking at and I could beat the polaris off the line, but he would eventually catch me and pass. THE KFX ALL THE WAY BABY.
