Hello...Working on a warrior for a guy...Bike idles perfect, but when you rev it up it acts like its on a rev limiter...breaks up perfectly(if you know what i mean)...tore carb down and cleaned Everything...Does the exact same thing...New plug..Does the exact same thing..Just was curous if they have some safety switches or anything that would cause this...reverse rev limiter or anything?...like i said it starts right up..idles..no engine noise what so ever...no smoke..just when u give it gas....any info would be great..I havent worked on any of these before so just wanted to know any info..thanks

Check your emergency brake switch, located on the left side of the handle bars. There are 2 switches, one for clutch lever and the other goes to the emergency brake cable. If the small emerg lever is out of place by just a little it kicks in the rev limiter. The easiest thing to do is follow the wires under the hood and disconnect the plug.I forget if its normal open switch or normally closed switch, you may have to jump them together.I've had the same problem a few different times and did the same as you, cleaned the carb, oops!

Didn't mean to state Warriors have seperate rev limiters, agreed they don't, simply stated when the emergency brake was engaged the CDI box will limit rpm's and that could be the cause of his problem

I had this exact same problem and did the same exact thing, only I almost bought a new carb ($275). When I went to pay for it, the salesmen told me to check that wire. I owe that guy a beer.
