Red Hot Pipe?

I started my quad up last night to do some ice rideing and let i warm up for 10 minutes.I noticed the pipe was actually glowing red like neon.Anyone evr have this happen in cold weather rideing?

yes, every pipe will glow like then when you just let it sit and idle for a period of time.

I was wondering why becausew my lt 500 and friend 4003x and banshee dont do it.Is it a diferent metel or something

Metals, temperatures, idle speed.

I think there are a few factors. My friend had a stock raptor pipe and my rappy had a CT. His didn't glow but mine turned a nice molten red color at night. I heard somewhere that being rich/lean might contribute to it too but I could be wrong.

ya my 400ex used to do it now my ltr does it. looks pretty sweet at night when your riding around.
