well i finally have the swap all running correctly now. but im ready to rebuild my engine. i want to find a 85mm piston for it or just a bigger piston in genral. what company still sells them besides powroll just want to span out all my options.
http://www.3wheeler.org/vb/archive/...hp/t-15209.html i found this information here. but i would like to find out were i can order the pistons mentioned. are they just using xr500 pistons?

No,xr500 pistons are a lot taller than the 350x piston,i know because i have 2 of them,i was thinking how i could make mine a big bore, you would have to take almost a 1/4in. off the top of the piston to have 0 deck height.
Look for a 83 or 84 honda xr350 piston and take a bit off the top,use clay to see where the valves will hit.mine used a 83 xr350 84.5mm piston.i think powroll has a 86mm kit as well.

i was talking with swingin on 3ww and from what i under stand you can use xr500 pistons and sleves but have to build an 3mm spacer plate because the wrist pin position is 3mm off. i think im gonna go with the 425 kit from fst. or i just might buy the arias piston on ebay. its 3mm over not exactly big bore but it will help. iplan on getting a 250r in the near future.

Yeah i imagine that would work but you'll need to use a longer timing chain,or one that is well used
I almost bought that arias piston on ebay, its 83mm i believe.

if your looking for a aftermarket cam,let me know,i have a web grind 102 brand new in the box,i currently have a web #213 in mine now.

how much are you looking to get for the cam? what is it set to do, top end or low end?

remember anything over 86mm needs a case bore and larger sleeve.
