After the starter sprocket exploded and got jammed in between the stator and flywheel I can't get the bike to start. I have fuel but no spark. I didn't see any damage or broken wires while I had the side cover apart. How do I check the stator and see if the coil is getting a signal without pulling the cover again?

I'm getting a "pulse" from the wire that goes to the trigger and about 1.6 volts on the two yellow wires that come from the stator while turning the motor over. I dont get anything at the coil.
