My dad had a polaris 700, u could add H2O to the battery. Wondering can u add water to a kfx-400 battery. Start it the other day and it ran. I had it parked outside for a bit and the neutral light shut off. It does not seem to leak but could it evaporated. I have a car battery charger but do not want to fry it.

I can't remember off hand but I don't think it's servicable. There would be caps on the top of the battery. A car charger won't hurt the battery. Both are 12volts. If there is a selector on the charger for 2amp rate then use that and let it charge overnight.

oh thanks. I charged it a little while, the light came back on. Just did not know if it was serviceable like u said. I might get a tune up anyways because I am getting a full fmf exhaust coming in the mail. I rode it the other day and the stock header was glowing red. But it does not back fire.

You cannot service it. Its a sealed battery.
