250R rear shock on 400ex?

I have a stock 250R rear shock thats been revalved by PEP...will this fit on my 400ex? i have triple rate works non-rezzies on the front of my 400 and want something to eaven out the rear without spending much money.

it will work but involves using the lower mounting eyelet from the 400ex shock. it also causes the rear to sit a bit higher and in some cases create a slight bind in the linkage area.


to work properly. the R shock should be shortened by atleast 1"
