Hey guys,

I am new to the whole dune riding. I ride a lot of trails where I am. I have a 07 Can-Am Renegade. Do I need dune tires to run on sand or will my stock ITP Holeshots work?

The only time you will miss the paddles are on steep hills or drag racing, otherewise knobbies do fine in sand.

they will work fine but nithing beats the traction of paddle tires.

Haulers are good for dragging and climbing......sand stars are good for turning, etc.

Thanks for all the help.

The only thing is that my wheels are spun ballanced. Will that make a difference if was to just get an extra set of rims and tires for the dunes?
