do aftermarket swingarms require that rubber gasket for between the bolts that clamps the carrier?

I dont have mine on my Roll swinger cuz the bolts are a tad bigger on there than the ones on my stock swinger.

i had a lonestar swinger on my old 400 and you couldn't use it if you wanted. it had 2 big bolts instead of the 4 allen heads.
