well im buying new clutches and I found some EBC Dirt Racer DRC Total Clutch Kit and my other choice is PRO RACER CLUTCH KIT HONDA i dont know which one is a better choice.

COMPLETE CLUTCH WITH ALL FIBERS PLATES, STEEL PLATES, AND HEAVY DUTY SPRINGS Are the fiber and steel plates better? I need some feedback and suggestions.

Posted by: pro-rider46

i have heard that the ebc clutches arent the greatest, i have heard good things from the tusk clutch kit, the are cheap too. adn you get all of that stuff from them. check it out. just cause ebc are expensive doesnt mean they are good.

not sure what the ebc goes for but if its around the price of hinson clutch components, GO HINSON!

do you guys know anything about DRIVEN COMPLETE CLUTCH KIT ?

or Tusk Clutch Kit With Heavy Duty Springs

I run a DP racing crf450 clutch kit in my 450 engines and love it! grabs so hard!

I myself have used Hinson on every bike I ever owned. I am impressed with Hinson and I do highly recommend. But the DP's, I just put a set in my cousins RM125 and NJ has told the truth. The clutch grabs hard and I was impressed with the DP. And they are pretty cheap.

Posted by: NJ450rider

I think i paid 145 but thats like cost cause of the parts shop i ride for.

Coming off of a warrior I havent heard to many good things about the Tusk Clutch kit.

Posted by: bloodmoney23

well i never bought a set for my 450r but the DP's were 137 at a local shop for the rm125. My entire Hinson setup was around 600 though because i bought the basket/plates/springs/pressure plate/side cover. Im not sure. ill try to find a cheap place to pick them up for ya.

$163.99 DP Clutches DPK Clutch Kit
this price is at denniskirk.com

these are pretty much the best prices i can find. the rest are up at about 180 or so. trust me the price is worth it and please dont go with tusk....they will last you about 8 months depending on your riding style. you can go EBC they run mainly about 80-100 on these 2 sites but once again.....you get what you pay for.

I'd stay away from the tusk. Good clutch for the money but with the sub-par materials they use in their fibers, they stick. I'd go with OEM Honda fibers and steels, or go Hinson personally. I dont think OEM can be beat for the price/quality.

Posted by: GIXXER1KR

Check Ebay for the OEM kits.I paid like $120 shipped.Cant beat OEM.They last and dont hammer the oil!!!

Posted by: Polak1035

i cant find any oems

Stock clutch kits are suppose to be the best. Check out Lakecityhonda.com. You can find the clutch kits under the parts finder for a good price

my oem clutches lasted 2.5 years 2 years with over 50 hp and were not slipping when i pulled them, steels looked good and were still in spec, i just figured it had to be time.

my tusk lasted 7 mounths, and in that time i bought another quad so the tusk clutches never got ridden at the track, so maybe 5 dune trips. i didnt measure the friction plates but the steels were trashed.

oem for me
