Newbie here, got a couple questions..

I just bought a used 06 KFX400 last week for $3600 including 4 new tires. I think I got a pretty good deal, but to the point I took it out last Saturday and the water temp light came on 3 times. I shut it off and let it cool for a couple minutes then it was fine for a while. All the time while riding I noticed the fan never cut on so when I got back home I found that the fuse for the radiator fan was blown. What could have caused this? Was it just a blown fuse or is there something else that caused it to blow. I havent run it since I replaced the fuse so hopefully this will fix the overheating problem. Anyone have any suggestions or tips of things to look out for?

Also whats a good slip on exhaust thats not too loud? I was leaning toward a Supertrapp since I've had them on my dirtbikes. Thanks for the help.

if the fan gets plugged with enough mud so that it cannot turn, or gets a stick in it, or some other obstruction, it will blow the fuse.
