here is somthing to look at, a really good buddy of mine built this for the snow and well as you can see it goes in the snow, and before you ask no the front ski's wont move the disc in bolted so it wont spin. this thing is a blast in the snow.

Nice man, you dont know how lucky you are. I wish I had one quad that stayed together.
Are those Gee's old bikes?

That is awesome, how much does that setup run?
Maybe ill forego the sled this winter and get that.
M-Dub take out another line of credit and do that to yours.

For the cost of that you can buy a nice used sled. They run around $2500, and I haven't really heard anything about them lately. That one looks like it could be a custom jobber though. The steering setup looks hairy. You really need to do custom spindles on them. That is like running flipped/offset rims, but with skis right there. I guess for lake running who cares, but for the trails by us no way.
Posted by: smithn1683
eh pick up a set of used skis for a couple of hundred, weld them up to some used spindles. and some 4snows in the back http://www.4atvtires.com/atvTires/s...d=5092&cat_id=3 the skis will keep you on top and the 4snows should pick up some traction. Good to go, I will run them on the 230 Turbo.

awsome quads man! do you have anymore pictures of the red one?
Posted by: Roostar 450
yes they are Gee's bikes i bought them when he finished the WPSA season. that Snow kit was hand built by him i think it ran him aobut 600$ he seen one at a show and than remebered how it went together and kinda built it from there. yes i have more pics of the red one but i will have to put them on another time no time right now.
I consider myself really lucky i know not everyon can have or afford this stuff but i am 20 years old live at home with nothing to my name but those bike's and alot of money to pay back. i would like to kawi next year though we will see.

which suspension u lie better the elkas or the fox?
Posted by: Roostar 450
To tell you the truth all front shocks no matter what you use if they are set up properly they will all work for you. now the rear end on the red bike i rode the elka single link and their dual link and i could not get them to stop kicking me around, but i have not had alot of time on the Fox shox yet but they were working really good i had to send them back to get a re-valve done for my weight so i hope they work alot better now they should though. for the money i would much rather go with fox shocks than the elka any time now i think. I dont like to bash companies but Elka has sponsored me for the last 3 years and every year the deal keeps getting bigger and bigger, they were great when i was calling them 2 years ago and now if you call there they dont want anything to do with yea. They dont want to try and help me with my rear shock or even care if its working good. I know people are really please with their elkas but i was not and i am glad i finally got some new shocks to try out. Im not saying that Elka shocks are bad they make a great looking and good shock for everyone but their customer service is junk. sorry if you dont feel the same way that is my opinion on it.

whoaaaa buddy---- i think if u really understood sponsorship you would delete this paragraph--- come on now!!!! Elkas rider support is great if u ask me--- next year will be my second year as a sponsored elka rider--- one of many to come hopefully-- i love my elkas---- and if u cant get them set up right it is probably your own fault for misunderstanding shock adjustment or disincluding information---- i have found elkas rider support awesome,, and have no complaints whatsoever-- infact i will be redoing my bike for 08 shortly and plan on a new set of fronts , new stablilizer, as well as them servicing my elka elite rears--- if your smart enough to read the brochure that comes with the elka on setup you might just be a lil more satisfied.
lastly,,,,, one thing a SPONSORED rider is not to do is bash a companys product in any aspect--- on or off the track = and especially NOT allowed to promote another brand.

i said their customer service is junk not there product and i dont care if i ever ride elka again you can build the best shock in the world and if your going to be rude to me than good luck on me riding them. im glad you have a great bond with them and your going to keep running there shocks. its not that they dont make a good shock they make great stuff its that i dont care for there people on the other end of he phone. if you have not got it by now i wont be having elka as a sponsorship for next year and they know that and they know why.

Ryan is probably the last guy I would ever see bashing a sponsor, on or off the track.
I am also a past elka user, have sent the shock back numerous times for revalving and reworking, and they weren't able to get the shocks to work well for me, let a lone they stopped making shocks for walsh porducts.
I am running PEPs on my hondas and let me say that i have never ridden on a set of shocks that work so well... Haven't ride Fox yet so I cant say anything about their performance.
And yes I bought one of Cody Anderson's honda's, except with PEP's, no elkas.

The seat.

I dont think that Ryan was bashing Elka , I also had the same kind of problem that you guys had , they couldnt get my elite shock working good for the walsh rear end , that thing was a joke really , thats why I switched to Fox. I know they can build a shock good , but for some reason they dont offer them to everybody

quads look amazing man! I love the colors on them! Gee always has some of the sickest quads! If you come through VA at all this year, hit me up and we will ride!
