06 450r Starter

So i bought my 06 when they first came out and have hardly rode it. It sat for awhile and when i got it out to start it the starter makes a weird noise. Almost sound slike its hanging up or something. After a few seconds it'll start. Anyone else have this problem

take it to the dealer and have the starter recall done to it...
