Armadillo Chassis Skid?

For christmas I want a chassis skid and was wondering how Armadillo chassis skids are? I've heard good and bad. I know they hold up but do they rattle or do the mounts come off a lot or at all etc... Pros and Cons. If not that then I'm getting a PRM but for the price I'd like something a little cheaper

Will a Pro Armor frame plate for a 300ex fit a 250x, I'm almost 100% positive but not sure enough LOL?

ha yea. Pretty much everythign from the X will fit the ex. The only thing that is different is the internals of the motor.
