Anyone modify how they hold their seat and rear fenders on their 400ex

I just bought a 400 and the seat was bolted to the rear fenders, but neither was held on to the bike. I've heard that this is a common problem and I was wondering if anyone came up with their own system to hold the seat on???

the seat and fenders are one unit and have a latch on the frame that attaches to the rear seat latch on the rear subframe. Maybe that is faulty, buy a locking seat latch with pin instead of the latch and it should solve your problems. I have them on my 250r's and they don't move at all, unless I pull out the pins.
