looks like sand mountain, nevada

Posted by: qmurder24

i agree it looks like nevada, but its not sand mountain. we go there alot.

That is Little Sahara, Utah...

Also refered to as Sand Mountain, Utah.

Sand Mountain, Nevada is in Fallon and is essentially just a huge hill. Not much of a riding area.

Here's a link to what it looks like.

i beg to differ its not as big as florence oregon but it is close the same size as winchester i was there last weekend for the first time and it made winchester seem mild as far as hills go

out back of the hill are lots of trail area

my .02

I was merely pointing it out that it's nickname consisted of "mountain" because it merely is a huge hill. There may be trails, but nothing like little sahara, glamis...etc for actual riding area.

thanks for the help. i found that picture on the net and wanted to go there it looks killer! as for sand mountain nevada, it isnt a huge area but is incredible fun. the hill is pretty huge and the trails out back are fun.
thanks again

looks very similiar to superstition, but I know it isn't superstition I go to super all the time. If that look like good riding to you then you will enjoy superstition. it's huge has a mix of dunes and hard packed, great all around riding. Also the Blue Angels practice out there if you are there on the right weekend they will put on a free show for you all day long. It's located in So Cal off of the I-8 20 miles west of El Centro, CA.

Yep Little Sahara here in Utah where I live. This would be my home away from home. Behind the hill is 60,000 acres of pure fun!!!. If anyone comes out give me a shout and I would be more than happy to show you around!.

Sand Mtn in the background.

You need to plan a trip, it's worth it. That picture is about 1/4 of the whole riding area. You can get lost out there.
