The latest news is they should hit about January some time. They are said to have a retail price around $3000. Pre-ordering is probably a good idea if you want yours before summer. If you have any questions we would be happy to help!

Thanks! Xtreme didn't want them posted until they were well ahead of the copy cat'ing lowlifes!

They gave me the okay this afternoon to post them and i'm glad to be able to bring them to you!

Lane is overseas right now trying to get everything in order to get them here ASAP! They don't want any trouble with customs so they are doing thier best to dot the "i" and cross the "t".

Are you the same person that was importing Typhoon copies?

Posted by: azextreme

No I'm not a dealer, But I know of Store that everybody in Az is upset with! Any spec yet??

Posted by: WOLFPACK

Sorry, my fault then! No spec yet!

Posted by: wolfpack91

What are the odds of the a-arms and swingarm fitting the current frame?

Posted by: WOLFPACK

Can't say for sure but chances are pretty good.

Posted by: azextreme

Is the entire structure alum?? including a-arms and swing?

Just about every piece!

Posted by: Ride1Rob

Bike looks good, but those heelguard welds look like the ones on the current typhoon. Weak. I like the the design of the bike though

Posted by: wolfpack91

Atleast it comes with nerf bars!!!! We did replace our with AC's though, and they are made GOOD.

Posted by: Big Red Menace

Wicked cool looking, What are the engine sizes going to be? Does this replace the existing Typhoon?

Posted by: double d 1

i noticed they put the lower front shock mount on top of the a-arm, and the rear shock is almost straight up and down compared to the 07 model.

Posted by: jschaffer

Sorry guys my computer wouldnt take the pics but I saw somebody put some up here so thats good. The January release date is a real stretch but the other info looks close not to far off base. Heres what came from the factory comparing it to the regular typhoon:

Revised Swing-Arm Pivot which reduces excessive play.
Completely Redesigned Aluminum Frame
Aluminum Sub-Frame
Aluminum Nerfs (redesigned)
Aluminum A-Arm (longer than old ones)
Relocated Lower front shock mount
DNM Shocks (all-around)
Vertically mounted rear shock
Re-designed Master Cylinder
Auminum Front HD Bumper
Aluminum Swing-Arm
Strengthened rear fender brace
Redesigned exhaust system mounts (strengthened and thickend)
Redesigned hubs (forged Aluminum)

Are those I shocks real? Are they adjustable? Are there motor upgrades as well?

Posted by: jschaffer

From what I've heard these shocks are 100 % real as well as 100 % adjustable! Although everyones asking about the motor this will be available in the 125, and thats it regardless to what everyone is saying. The motor option would be nice but from a cost standpoint Xtreme will not be doing that.

Posted by: QBS

hi, the shocks are fully adjustable we flew one over here the uk in oct from china to test it against other atvs in the 100 mod classfind attatched a photo of 11 year old jack passing a cobra ecx 90 ridden by a 14 year old .We went on to race the last 2 rounds of the british championships where it proved itself to be a success we made a few modifications to the bike we replaced the nerfs with goldspeed nerfs as the originals were too flimsy we also fitted a 140 engine it beat the cobras however we need to work on the gearing as jack was in top gear all the time once we get the gearing sorted over the winter when the season kicks off again in march we should have notable success with the super typhoon.jack is a good rider he has a cobra fitted with a100cc engine which the race clubs will not let him race a blaster which he is to yound to race and a yfz 450 practice bike with his experience of riding these quads he rates the new typhoon as the best value for money race quad.

Now that's what I like to see.

Posted by: azextreme

do you know how much it weighed??

Posted by: jschaffer

Dry weight is 242.30 LBs

Posted by: azextreme

all alum and still that high??

Posted by: jschaffer

I thought the same thing about the weight and that was dry weight on top of it. I will double check on that but the spec sheet I have thats what it says.

I'll get back to you guys on that one

Posted by: jschaffer

Well thats the official weight from the factory guys and it is quiet a bit lighter than the regular 125.

Our current Ty125 is 315 in the crate I dont have a exact weight on the unit I can find from the factory.

Posted by: rpowell

I just got an email from Xtreme with the specs for the new Super Typhoon and it states 4 inches of ground clearance, is this correct?

Posted by: jschaffer

4.1 is what it reads those are what we have from the factory. That sheet should all be correct

Posted by: rpowell

Thanks

Posted by: Jaybird

Is there a place to purchase those shocks? I would like to upgrade the ones on my sons Ty125 but I dont want to spend more on the shocks than I paid for the bike since he will only ride it for another year or so.
Brian

Posted by: Bulletracn

I know two brothers sell I shocks for the pit bikes. They maybe able to piont you in the right direction. I run Elkas on our Typhoon. I paid around 800 +/-

Posted by: paulb

Bike looks huge improvement on current model.

Can QBS or anyone suggest best 140 engine to use for cross country ?

Posted by: QBS

we ran yx industries 140 we took inner rotor kit off put it back to flywheel tracks are different here in the uk the inner rotor kit made the engine too revvy and we needed more torque we ran 2 meets with it 6 races 2 practices it has held up alright gearbox is strengthened which has been an issue with other engines.the new typhoon is an affordable bike to race because of this you can afford to try different engine set ups etc.we also run a cobra for the money we have in that we could afford to race 3 typhoons with a spare engine each. The season starts here in march so we will see how the engine holds up.

Posted by: paulb

Thanks for your help. Hope Jack has much success in the new season

Posted by: hanzito

any new word on the release of these.

Posted by: WOLFPACK

Last we heard the owner was flying over to the factory to tie up some last details and get them coming.

Posted by: JBOYZ

Thanks for the update WolfPack.... I was under the assumption that they had "some" here.... Unfortunately, I told someone in your area wrong....

Posted by: WOLFPACK

Chances are real good that they do have "some" here but aren't giving them up until after the dealer show.

Posted by: hanzito

when is the dealer show and how much are they going to sell for. got a firm price yet?

Posted by: WOLFPACK

Dealer show is valentines day weekend.

MSRP is $2995. i heard.
