01 400 and the rear hubs r loose...do i just tighten them down or do i have to replace them....

mine came lose i torqued them to 110ft lbs i belive someone correct me if thats the wrong torque and then i replaced the cotter pin.

Remove the hubs.
Clean the splines inside and on the axle.
Apply a liberal amount of grease to the splines.
Reinstall.
Torque castle nut to 101 ft. lbs.
Install new cotter pin.
If the hole for the cotter pin doesn't line up continue tighening until one does. Do not loosen the nut to get to a hole.
